Common Raven

The raven is the largest member of the crow family and the largest songbird in the world. Audubon painted a single bird for plate 101.

Ravens are found right across the northern hemisphere, including the hills and sea cliffs of western Britain, and the Tower of London keeps at least six.

Based on plate 101 of Audubon's The Birds of America.
